How do I book a car ?

Can I specify the brand and car model I want ?
Unfortunately, suppliers don't generally provide the specific brand or model of their cars, but you can see each car's type when searching. Please bear in mind that different countries and regions may categorize cars in different ways, and the car you receive at pick-up is subject to the availability at the branch.
Are there any license requirements?
Each car's driver's license requirements, including the license type for renting, are listed on the car details page. Bring the original license when picking up the car; temporary licenses and printed copies aren't accepted. Most rental companies require you to have held your license for at least 1 year, or 3–5 years for some high-end models.Typically, rentals are for customers 18 and over. Some companies may charge an extra fixed fee for younger drivers (e.g., those 25 and under). Check the rental company's terms for detailed license requirements.
What is an additional driver?
When you're renting a car, you have the option to designate an additional individual as a driver. Once added, this person will be included in the insurance coverage for driving the rented vehicle. It's crucial to make this addition if someone other than the primary renter is going to be behind the wheel. If an individual who hasn't been registered as a driver operates the car, the insurance policy will not provide coverage for any potential incidents or damages.
What should I do in case of a breakdown or an accident during the car rental period?
1.In case of a scratch or collision without involving a third party during the rental period, call the car rental company's emergency number promptly to report the vehicle's condition and ask if you need to call the police or replace the car. If rescue is needed, wait for the staff. If returning the car, go to a nearby store, explain the situation and request a replacement. The store will arrange a car based on availability.
2.If an accident with a third party occurs, call the police immediately regardless of fault. Contact the car rental company, keep the third party's contact info (phone, plate number, name, etc.), take photos of the scene, wait for police or the company's rescue, and obtain a police-signed accident report and the third party's details. When returning the car, show the police report and fill in the company's accident or damage report.
3.For insurance claims from the car rental company, keep copies of all rental documents. Failure to follow this process may invalidate your insurance and affect your compensation rights.
4. In case of theft during the rental period, call the police and the car rental company's emergency number as soon as possible to report the theft.
How do I make changes to my booking?
Unfortunately, car rental bookings cannot be changed once they've been confirmed. If you need to modify the pick-up or drop-off time, car model, or driver, you can cancel your booking and make a new one. Please bear in mind that cancellation policies vary by rental supplier. If you cancel a booking after the free cancellation period, a cancellation fee will be charged. If you change your mind after canceling and make the same booking again, the rental price may have changed (the actual price will be displayed when you book). If you want to rent a car for longer than originally booked, you can check with the staff at the rental branch whether it's possible to extend the rental period. Specific fees and policies are laid out in the contract provided by the branch.
How do I cancel my booking?
You can cancel the booking for free on the booking details page within a specified time period. Once the booking is canceled, it cannot be restored. The specific rules vary depending on the car rental supplier, model, location, and so on. Please read the terms and conditions on the booking details page.
Can I pick up or return the car earlier or later?
1.Picking up the car earlier
If you pick up the car earlier with the permission of the store, you should take the initiative to inform the staff that you will return the car at the same earlier time. Also, pay attention to whether the rental period in the car rental contract is modified accordingly. Otherwise, the store will charge you additional rental fees at the over-the-counter price.
2.Picking up the car later
If you are going to pick up the car at the store later than the scheduled time, please contact the store or Wookong Car Rental in advance before the reserved pick-up time and get a reply from the store or Wookong Car Rental to confirm whether it is possible. Otherwise, you may not be able to pick up the car. It is recommended that you arrive on time within the reserved time. In addition, for the unused time due to the late pick-up, according to the terms, the relevant fees will not be refunded.
3.Returning the car earlier
If you return the car earlier than the agreed return time in the car rental contract, or if the car rental company terminates the contract due to your own actions (such as illegal driving, violating the terms of the car rental contract, etc.) or because of a serious accident that makes the vehicle inoperable, the vehicle rental fees for the remaining unused days will not be refunded. The fees will still be calculated based on the complete rental period in the contract. Specifically, it shall be subject to the terms of the car rental contract of the car rental company.
4.Returning the car later
If you return the car later than the agreed return time in the car rental contract, the car rental company will charge you additional relevant rental fees at the over-the-counter price of the car rental company. This fee should be paid after you arrive at the store. Note: In all the above situations, you need to contact the store in advance to report the situation.
How is the rental period calculated?
The rental fee is calculated based on a rental period of 24 hours per day. If the rental time is less than 24 hours, it will still be counted as one day. For example, if the car is rented for 52 hours, the rental period will be calculated as 3 days. Please arrange the car pick-up and return times reasonably to save on rental fees.
What documents are needed for car rental?

After a successful reservation, you can print the car pick-up voucher according to the instructions in the order confirmation email or on the order page. In some stores, an electronic car pick-up voucher can be used instead of the printed version.

Mastercard/Visa with embossed card numbers. Most car rental companies accept credit cards with both UnionPay and Mastercard/Visa logos. However, due to the POS machines in some stores, a few car rental companies require a single-logo Mastercard/Visa card. 5.Driver's License Translation and Certification Documents:
When renting a car with a driver's license issued in Mainland China, you must provide an International Driver's License Certification, an NZTA translation, a translation provided by the car rental company, or an English notarized copy of the driver's license that is recognized by the car rental company.
When renting a car with a driver's license issued in other countries or regions, you must provide an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued by that country or region.
Will I need to pay a deposit when I pick up the car?
You'll need to provide a deposit when you pick up your car, so please remember to bring a chip credit card. The name on your payment card should be the same as the one on your license. Deposit payments are preauthorized, and the amount varies depending on the car model. For higher end models, you may need to provide 2 payment cards. Deposit amounts are typically released around 28–45 days after you've dropped off the car. In most cases you won't receive a notification, so please keep an eye on your account balance.

If you intend to return the rented car in a different country or region, you can indicate this by using the "Drop-off location" field when you conduct your search. The search results will then only display cars that are available for such a drop-off arrangement, meeting your specific needs. In case you're planning to drive across a border during the rental period, it is highly advisable to get in touch with the rental branch beforehand. This way, you can confirm whether cross-border driving is allowed and find out if there are any extra charges associated with it.
What kinds of insurance are included in the order?
The order rent of Wookong Car Rental generally includes the basic insurance fees required for car rental, such as Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection, and Basic Third Party Liability.
